Bates Investigations History

Ken Bates is the President and Lead Investigator of Bates Investigations. He spent nine years on the Austin Police Force before becoming licensed as a Private Investigator in 1983. He founded Bates Investigations in 1988. He is qualified as an expert witness regarding Electronic Countermeasures before Grand Juries in Federal and State Courts. He is a member of the National Association of Legal Investigators, the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators, the American Society for Industrial Security, and the International Association of Bomb Technicians & Investigators.

Kimberly Armstrong joined Bates Investigations as a Private Investigator in 1999. She graduated in 1997 from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She is licensed by the Texas Commission on Private Security and is a member of the Texas Association of Legal Investigators and the National Council of Investigation & Security Services.

Pansy Narendorf was added to the Bates Investigations team in 2002. She is a Private Investigator licensed by the Texas Commission on Private Security and is a member of the Texas Association of Legal Investigators. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997.

Adrienne O'Keefe began work with Bates Investigations in 2004. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning & Development from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999. She is a Private Investigator licensed by the Texas Commission on Private Security.
